I recently discovered that when subtitles were turned on in English-language videos, they began to automatically appear in Russian (with terrible automatic translation). At the same time, in the player settings, you can see that the subtitle language is English and switching languages from Russian to English and vice versa does not affect anything. The only way that allows you to show subtitles in English is to force the translation of subtitles into English in the settings of the youtube player. The problem is reproduced in all browsers.
Well, the questions are: is this the case for everyone now? Can I somehow disable this translation into Russian? Terribly annoying..

Ran into this today, maybe someone else will be relevant.
The problem was in the S3.Google Translator add-on, where "Enable automatic translation of YouTube subtitles" is set in the default settings. After disabling the option, everything became normal.
