How to turn off the indicator light on the bottom of the PC case?

Greetings.
There is a PC case and there is an LED on/in it. I want to make it so that it does not shine, but I do not know how to do it better / more correctly. What specific options are there?

1. Some motherboards allow you to turn off the disk activity and power indicators in the BIOS. Some even allow you to do it programmatically or on a schedule.
2. If this is a power or disk indicator, then you can simply disconnect them from the motherboard.
3. If this is some kind of RGB backlight. which is implemented in the case and is not controlled by a computer, you can simply turn off its power

Some people on the net write that turning off PLED + HDDLED can lead to some kind of startup / operation / shutdown failure (I don’t remember exactly).

Don't hesitate, just disconnect these wires from the motherboard and that's it. I declare responsibly - nowhere are these conclusions monitored, whether they are connected or not. It makes no difference to the motherboard whether there is an LED connected there or not. And programmatically, these conclusions are not available in any way. On some motherboards, the PLED indicator may fade and slowly light up or blink (for example, in standby mode), but again, no board will recognize the presence or absence of the LED.
