The answer is simple enough. Apparently there are few experts in this subject!
In order to mute sound via HDMI on a tablet, you need to rebuild the kernel for a device with HDMI Audio Mute support, and flash this kernel into your device. After such manipulations, the sound is cut down as it should, Voila, when connected via HDMI!
