I would like to build my messenger for android purely for personal use and out of interest in the process of its creation, please add links to tutorials on creating it. Any methods will do. Thanks

Tell me more. You will need some kind of web service. You can write it on whatever you want, the main thing is that it works)) All the work will lie on it, there will be a minimum on the side of the android development.
