How to turn off character conversion on macbook?

Hello. When, in the English scenario, I try to write a single quote first, and then immediately a letter, it 'aturns out instead á. And so with some other letters. Also strange behavior of double quotes in the vs code editor and in the terminal when I double-click on double quotes.

Maybe someone came across? How to fix?

I FOUND A SOLUTION
I had the "US - international PC" layout, replaced it with the standard
Mac "ABC" and everything started working as it should :)
