1. Open System Preferences by selecting the appropriate icon in the Dock or from the top Apple menu - System Preferences
2. Select the menu item “Keyboard”
3. In the window that opens, go to the “Text” tab
4. Here it is, that cherished checkbox “Correct errors automatically ". Remove it and close the settings window.
