How to turn it off in illustrator (I couldn't formulate briefly)?
Is it possible in illustrator CC 2018 to disable the following function:
I have a brush in my hands, I draw a line, it is too wide. I change the stroke width, draw a line - now everything is OK. But the old object (wide) remained. I click on it, delete it, draw the next line - and it is wide again. Terribly annoying. When you click on an object, its damn settings are applied. Can this be turned off? It may be convenient, but in general, it is not necessary. Yes, you can first delete and then change the stroke width, or select an object and change the stroke on it so that the width is applied, but all this is done automatically and, in principle, is not necessary and strains every time. Thanks
