How to troubleshoot a laptop?
Greetings.
Straight to the point, so - we have an HP laptop. It was discharged to zero by autonomous work in the archicad, half an hour later it was brought to charge, connected to the network and turned on, when turned on, the cooler yelled like a victim for a couple of minutes (usually there was never such a noise) and turned on in standard mode, the game was launched, after 5 -7 minutes toy laptop joyfully turned off and no more signs of life.
So the question is: How can I diagnose the problem myself? What burned/broken? Server/southbridge/video card/processor? When charging is connected, not one indicator on the laptop is lit, zero reaction to the power button. That is quite a brick!
Tried: give the laptop an hour to charge - does not help, other chargers - do not help.
A screwdriver indicator when charging is connected shows that there is power on usb (maybe I don’t know how to use a screwdriver indicator ?!).
PS: HP Pavilion 17-f169nr laptop

It makes sense to remove the battery and run the laptop without it. If the battery is non-removable, there should be a marked hole on the bottom of the laptop with a button to disable the built-in battery. If it doesn’t start without a battery, it’s worth looking at the indication (what, how many times, what color it blinks when you try to turn it on) and google the indication. If there are no signs of life - an internal converter or processor. For further diagnostics, you need a miniPCI diagnostic card.
It is necessary to try a known-good battery. I have a suspicion that he died.
