How to transport the system unit on an airplane?

Does anyone have experience? I'm thinking of removing the most expensive parts (hard drive, video card, motherboard), and buying the case on the spot (Thailand). Will they be allowed to carry these details in hand luggage?

I fly back and forth with my system manager every year (I don’t like laptops, I prefer my beast). Hard drives are removed and transported in hand luggage. The rest is packed in a regular box from the system unit and carefully glued with adhesive tape at all seams, red "Fragile" stickers are hung on it at registration - loading and unloading on board is done manually, no transport tapes. Sometimes, if there is a lot of baggage besides the computer, you may have to pay extra for the total excess. Monitor - depends on the size. You can take up to 23 "in hand luggage, hardly anyone will object. Well, 27" will definitely have to be checked in as luggage, the scheme is the same as with the system unit.

in the box. I handed over in luggage, having pasted over with polyfoam.

If the radiator on the processor is large, remove and transport separately. Remove the hard drive too.
The remaining parts of the system unit will survive the loading and unloading of luggage without consequences.
Pack the case in a box with foam.

It is safe to carry equipment in hand luggage.

I think that everything depends on the dimensions, weight and contents of the block.
