How to translate wikis (on the example of Arch Linux Wiki)?

Let's say I want to translate a wiki article (for example, wiki.archlinux.org) into Russian. Not even to translate, but to supplement an already translated, but outdated article.
First, I don't understand how outdated it is. At what date should the English wiki be updated? Or translate by sentence, check each time?
How can I see all the articles that can be translated so that I can choose from them?
Can't it be that you just need to add all the translated articles to favorites in order to receive notifications of changes later? And if they do, how do they start? The article has already been translated for some date, but I need to update it with the current one.

@Spetros

Do you have the task of accurate or free translation?
Most public wikis are quite free to translate into another language.
