Actually, at least theoretically. How to transfer traffic from one ASBR to another on Cisco?

What is the complete question?
Design work to replace the old ASBR with a new one? Is daytime allowed? Is there a backup link to the Internet?
Or do we have two ASBRs, do we need to tweak policies and rules so that traffic goes not through the first, but through the second? Then BGP local-preference attributes and others.
