The router does not always work, how to solve?
I have a dir-320 router. Sometimes (50% chance) it happens that I turn on the PC, but the Internet does not work. The router is connected to the network, everything flashes there, but does not give access to the Internet. I solved this problem by rebooting the router.
How can this problem be solved? Maybe the firmware needs to be updated? I was looking for off. site, found it, but when downloading it, I got a 404 not found window.
If anything, here is a link to the router on the off site www.dlink.ru/ru/products/5/786_d.html
Thanks in advance for your help.

DLINK, at least in the past, was notorious for the unreliability of its equipment. Try changing your router.
Judging by the link you have revision A1. These are very ancient routers, it is better to change to something modern. Well, if you don’t want to change, then I will advise an alternative firmware vampik.ru/wl500g/rtn/5066/DIR320-3.0.6-r5066M.trx On it, my router worked more stable than on my native one.
What is the way to access the internet? Faced with the fact that in the case of dual access, the Internet sometimes does not work immediately after switching on. Solved by rebooting the router.
There were similar problems with the DIR-300, I found the latest firmware on the Internet, since then it worked without failures until it died in a thunderstorm. I don't buy DLINK anymore.
Start by checking the hardware: disassemble the router and replace all swollen capacitors (or better, all electrolytic capacitors, since there are 3 of them in total).
Now let's move on to the software: if the hardware revision of your router is A1 (this is indicated on the sticker on the bottom of the router in the H / W.ver. field or similar), then you can install the openwrt firmware.
About your router there is a page wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-320
Everything is described in detail there.
