If two headsets hook up to the audio system through the receiver and are active at the same time, then configure routing through VirtualAudioCable and it should work.
You can connect quite a few devices to one adapter at the same time.
In Linux, with the help of jack, you can connect sources and receivers as you like, at least in each ear for a different song. And here is how Windows - I do not know. Look for software mixers.
