How to transfer Atom to another PC?

Actually the question is how to transfer the atom to another computer without losing all installed packages and settings in general in general? Or as an option to do some kind of synchronization at all?

In general, it seems to be enough to synchronize the .atom folder
from alternative solutions:
store the contents of the .atom folder in the synchronization folder of your cloud provider and .atom itself (on windows it is c:\ users\username\.atom - most likely /home/username/.atom on linux) - symlink.
store the contents of the .atom folder in the repository and sync with it
