How to transfer a printer from windows to linux without drivers?
The situation is this: there is a canon mf3200 printer, there are no drivers for Linux, never have been and never will be. Raised a virtual machine with windows server 2003, forwarded usb, everything prints great. This system has been working for some time and I'm tired of manually uploading pdf to print.
I forwarded the printer to the local network, I set up cups and the problem is that it requires firewood. How to organize so that all this would work without them? Or can it be done so that PDF files are created during printing, they are sent to the server with subsequent printing?
