How to transfer a file larger than 10 KB via COM port?

Good afternoon! There is a DATAMAX 3210 ticket printer connected via a com port to the box (on the XP Home SP 3 box). The ticket printing program is set up like this - it creates a file with tickets and sends it to the printer via COM, which processes it and prints the tickets. The problem is that the maximum file transfer size in this way is 10 KB, only 11 tickets fit into these 10 KB, the printer does not accept a larger size. Even if you create a 10.8 KB file for 12 tickets, it will print only 11 tickets and considers its task completed. How can I increase the size of the transferred file?

this is a printer problem, you need to redo its firmware. the COM port itself has no restrictions
