How to track how often and what programs write to disk?

I have an SSD drive, I want to extend the life.
It is advisable to find out if some program writes too much to it

1. I tried to enable write audit in the disk security settings - nothing worked (nothing was added to security events when changing / creating files)
2. I tried to enable read / write audit in " Group Policies". Entries appeared in the journal, but reading records were also included, of which there were a lot.

What other options are there?

Under Windows, I recommend using the utility from Sys Internals - File Monitor. Free tool. You can find it on the first google link.

You can look in the task manager, for example.

It seems to me that it is enough to set temp & tmp on RAMDisc and install more RAM so that there is no swap. The rest is a penny, the main thing is not to forget to backup at least once a month.
