How to test an API method?

Greetings colleagues! I'm not a programmer, but I understand some things. How to check the operation of the API method on Windows if I'm not a programmer? I know on the poppy there is such a POSTMAN program for this. What is similar to Windows, so that it would be easier for a non-programmer to figure it out?
