How to test a web application in different browsers?

There is an application on Angular, you need to check how it is displayed in various browsers, including different versions of these browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari (from v8 to the latest), IE11 (maybe even IE10), including mobile versions of these browsers.
Please tell me if there are any tools / approaches, etc., how can this be done quickly enough without installing a bunch of virtual machines for each version of the browser? Moreover, it is desirable to check the new features of the application before publication, i.e. on localhost or local network.
Development is underway on Windows.
