How to switch from Movies to Books?

Hello, sometimes there are moments when you need a "push" in motivation. Many times this "push" was given by films, but there are very few of them left on the list. And I'm not very good with books. Rather, I know that reading is good and more useful than watching movies. But there are more books to motivate. What's the best way to get into these books? (I tried to take and read. After 1-3 hours, the desire to read disappeared)

Substitution is one of the tricks that always works. But you need to break the barrier. An exciting movie is a boring book. Define the genre of cinema, and first read books in the same genre, top books with a wow effect. Then gradually move on to less exciting books.
Although, for example, I have read several thousand books in my life. And there were probably 10 worthwhile pieces.

1. Find a book based on a movie.
2. Read the book first, then watch the movie.
3. Compare.

any information is like food. from here you can starve, you can overeat, you can have problems with digestion and assimilation of food. each - an individual diet, as some food may not be suitable for this particular person. consider

Almost everyone had this problem. Much depends on both the book and the ability to read it. Perhaps the point is in a bad habit formed over the years - to read slowly and thoughtfully, which leads to the fact that we begin to get distracted, lose our train of thought, and as a result, the book soon begins to bother. I read about this in some book about speed reading. It also provides speed reading methods (logical, isn't it? :)), which help to instill a love of books. As an example: read the text, line by line, trying not to pronounce the words in an inner voice, but to recognize the word "automatically".
Good luck.
