How to strengthen the Internet on the iPhone in the village?

Being an iPhone 5S user, and being on vacation in a distant village, I was disappointed:
A friend's Android phone loaded everything quite well and quickly, in a matter of seconds.
My iPhone loaded the page for about three minutes, or did not load anything at all.
I tried it with 3G turned on, and just on 2G. Nothing loaded.
(back in the city, the iphone again quickly loads everything).
How to strengthen the Internet on the iPhone in the village? On Android, everything loads quickly.

I would understand if they said that there are two operating systems nearby - iOS and Android, and when under iOS, the Internet does not really catch. Iron is still different, maybe that's the point)

1. Remove the SIM card from a friend's phone.
   
2. Trim to nano-SIM with nail scissors
   
3. Put it in the iPhone
