How to store item data when creating a game?
I'm interested in your opinion on how you would advise storing item data. I'm creating a game in game maker 2, if anyone is interested, and ran into a problem. I have a bunch of items, such as boards, garbage, mushrooms, nuts, etc., all of this has more than one parameter (sprite, quantity, name, etc.) they need to be stored somehow, at the beginning I thought to store it in a two-dimensional array, but then I thought, some kind of nonsense, the engine can work with external files, such as: binary files, ini files, text and like json.

Table with fields - file.
Table index - add. file.
Those. 2 files per table.
Links between fields of tables - one more file.
PS: If you already have sqlite, then of course, it's easier to do everything there!
