Does it make sense to learn C++ for GameDev in 2020?
Hello, does it make sense to learn C++ in 2020 for GameDev? Or will it be more relevant to choose C#? I would like to move, perhaps slowly, but into development not on a constructor like Unity, but something more serious. Thanks for the answer!

1. Unity - C#
2. UE - C++
These are the two leaders for consumer goods.
Choose any.
PS: all other "engines" of the AAA class are written by companies from scratch and are not distributed as a development tool to the public.
Look at what more or less running engines are now and what you need to work with them and you will find the answer yourself.
No.
Ps
What could be more serious than Unity? Or are you talking about the learning curve? Well, then there are a lot of unknown Japanese engines.
It is more relevant to learn Sharp for what? Now games are made on engines, it is more relevant to learn engines, not languages.
Gamedev is an industry, not a specialty. Why are you going to learn the language? Are there many positions within gamedev?
