How to start learning programming with a zero base?
Good afternoon!
Briefly about the essence of the problem: since 2009, I have been intermittently engaged in enikeystvo, repair, and a little administration. At the moment, such "administration" does not bring moral satisfaction, although it does bring money. Recently, there has been an interest in programming, but I have never done it (Visual Basic has long been forgotten at school).
Actually the question is: with what in general (or from reading what literature) should a teapot start in order to have at least a general idea of programming in general; and subsequently determine for themselves the direction and language (s) of programming?

But with horror I did not find it!
First, determine the direction for yourself: sites, desktop applications or mobile applications. And it will already depend on what to read for study.
Start learning the basics, the fact is that C and similar languages \u200b\u200bin the same way at the beginning, the syntax may be slightly different, but everywhere you will find such concepts as "variable", "array", "mathematical functions" and so on .. .Write
your first "Hello world", and then on knurled! =)
After some time, you will have to decide for yourself where to go next - front-end or back-end ... But that's a completely different story ...;)
If enikeystvo brings some money, think about the second higher education in one of the specialized universities. This will be useful not only for learning programming and related things, but also for subsequent employment.
