How to start designing an online store?

Good day!
Gentlemen, designers, please tell me, when drawing a design for an online store, do I need to draw absolutely all pages in Photoshop, or can I make some kind of general template for pages of the same type and pass it on to the layout designer in this form?
I would be very grateful to you if you tell me what stages and subtleties should be taken into account when developing the design of online store layouts so as not to torment the layout designer, customer and yourself in the future. I have no experience in developing multi-page sites, I was only engaged in landing pages, so I want to expand my, so to speak, professional skills.
Thanks in advance for your replies and advice!

1) It is necessary to make prototypes and agree with the customer (Take ready-made UI templates)
2) Coordinate prototypes with the customer
3) Draw the main page
4) Coordinate with the customer
5) Draw the inside

When developing the site structure, it is important to start with the development of a conversion model - a step-by-step algorithm for successful (bringing orders) user behavior on the site.
This is not a standardized process - each site has its own algorithm
Almost no one does this, and therefore subsequent site improvements are so frequent
And if you initially thoughtfully work out the behavior model, the site will give the maximum possible
conversions
in the user's head
- What practical steps, actions should the user take to reach the thank you page for the order - this is actually your main landing page on the site, the rest are only intermediate on the way to the goal
- Practical steps often imply variability (whether the user registered or not, whether he made a purchase before or not, and so on), so the behavior model needs to be prescribed with options A and B, in practice there are more options, of course.
You can do this in MS Word or Visio.
It is better to draw ideas from the leading sites of your subject
And only then apply the design to the behavior model
Only then you can create a really selling site

The answers provided generally correctly describe the situation.
There is only one exception - draw the title page last. This is usually the most problematic page in terms of customer approval.
In addition, what I personally practice: I analyze the customer's business "by the bones" in order to understand how best to do it for him and the user; then there are prototypes in axure/balsamiq - they are faster and easier to assemble than to draw a design and only then, when the prototypes are disassembled and approved, visual styles are drawn.
