How to speed up the startup of linux(elementary os/ubuntu)?
I installed elementary os on ssd, everything is cool, but there is one problem - the system boots for 2-3 seconds, and switching video modes takes about 4 seconds. I use two monitors: one 1280*1024 (dvi-vga), the second 1920*1080 (hdmi).
First, it shows a loading animation, and it seems to be even in its resolutions, then, after loading, a screen with a login form (enter a password) follows, and now on this screen the resolution is 1280 * 1024 on both monitors. After entering, the resolutions of the monitors become normal.
How can I make the password entry screen use the normal resolution for monitors?

Set up xorg.conf, of course. Or, immediately after starting x, run xrandr with the necessary parameters.
I recommend that you reboot less, and the problem will go away =)
