How to speed up small block operations on NVME?

They say Raid 0(1) does not speed up small-block operations, I have a 970 Pro, will buying a second drive save me? Or take Optane?

nmve itself is wildly fast. If its speed is not enough for you, then yes - you buy 1 or 3 disks in addition, and make RAID0 or RAID10 on them.

Well, Raid0 can speed up, but obviously not the one that is built into the motherboard. Acceleration is due to a smart algorithm, due to caching in memory on board the raid controller. The raid built into the motherboard will obviously not help here. In addition, the 970Pro SATA will likely be faster than this raid by itself.
Will the purchase of a second disc save - not a fact.
Here you either need to figure out caching, or watch a gigabit NAS with a raid
