How to solve the problem with "HAXM" and VT-X?

Help, experts!
I want to get started with Android Studio, but unfortunately the emulator requires HAXM, and that one requires VT-X.
I tried a lot of things, but I could not turn on VT-X (there is not even a hint of such an option in the BIOS).
Please help.
Gigabit motherboard, old.
