How to solve the memory issue in Win8.1?

There is a laptop with win 8.1 x64 on board. Initially, it had 3 GB of RAM, but I bought a new bar and now it costs 4 GB. Swap disabled, worth ssd.
Why do I often get a warning about the lack of memory, although there are still 700-800 MB free?
The only question is this.

Already there is no strength to fight ... "maybe the system needs to put 32 GB and swap for 1 TB ...".

Swap why disabled? Nothing will happen to your SSD from it.

Turn the swap file back on.

Well, I think the reason is that you have "not enough" memory for the x64 system and applications. Do not forget that in x64 all ints occupy 8 bytes by default, and not 4 bytes, as in x86. And as often happens, the x64 version of an application takes up more memory than a similar x86 one. Therefore, install a 32-bit system and do not suffer. Moreover, you have just 4GB.

With SSD (especially if they are no longer crumbling as before), it’s not a sin to leave a swap file. Especially if you have such things that it is occupied / free in RAM about 50/50. There are three great articles on memory .
I also highly recommend using the tips on using the "Windows Performance Toolkit", which often speeds up not only the boot, but the system as a whole.

as usual, without thinking, they turn off the extra, and then "this does not work, this does not work, and finally your Windows is shit."
