How to solve ram problem on macbook pro?
Problem with MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014).
Recently, with the simultaneous operation of google chrome, about 15 open windows, three or four other programs, the cooler began to work hard. Then, at some point, chrome was already closed, steam was launched, and during the running game, the coolers also began to work hard and noisily, and at some point everything hung. Forced shutdown only helped. After the reboot, the poppy started to slow down wildly.
In CleanMyMac, when you turn on from 8GB of ram, about 3GB of RAM is free and over time, the free RAM becomes less and less, even if you didn’t include anything in addition, it comes to the point that about 100MB remains. After FreeUp / purge, 2-3GB of RAM is released, which is then also reduced to the minimum free 50-100MB. But it still continues to slow down decently even with 3GB free.

1. Activity Monitor > Memory tab > Sort by the Memory column and examine the list of software that eats up memory. In the View menu, you can choose to show only user processes.
2. Check autostart:
- System Preferences > Users
- /Library/LaunchAgents
- /Library/LaunchDaemons
- /Users/username/Library/LaunchAgents
These are all different places, check everything and learn.
3. Switch to Safari. on a 2014 beech with 8GB of memory, Chrome is already a luxury (if you update the OS).
