How to skip language when switching languages?

Hello. I'm learning Japanese - I need a Japanese keyboard. But I use it on the strength of 1% of the working time. But it turns out that I constantly get on it - I have to use Punto Switcher twice, which is boring, and he himself cannot switch from Japanese.
How can I make it so that when switching languages, the Japanese keyboard would not be used, but switch to it either with the mouse through the tray, or by another keyboard shortcut?
Thanks

It seems to me that it is best to use alternative type switching programs (I use keyla myself), but Punto Switcher is also possible if it has the necessary functionality.
The idea is to completely abandon the standard switch and put more exotic, but convenient key combinations. Let's say that I now switch to English by pressing the left Shift once, and switching to Russian by pressing the right Shift once. It is very convenient, you don't need to run your eyes from the tray to the place where you enter text every time, you just need to press the desired key. Even Raskin, in his book about interfaces, advised getting rid of modes wherever possible.
In this situation, if I needed a third language, I would assign it another combination, maybe a two-key one, since I will rarely use it. Let's say the same Ctrl+Shift.
The only drawback of this method is that it quickly gets used to convenience, after which it is uncomfortable for a random machine to work with standard layout switching.
