How to shrink an Android Studio project?

I tried to upload my project to Dropbox, it turned out there are more than 3k small files and it naturally takes a very long time to load. What to do with it? How to reduce their number?

Throw out the build folders and everything written in .gitignore. The project will immediately become small.
