How to share a webcam on a local network?

Two computers in a network, under Windows XP.
A usb webcam (Logitec) is connected to one.

Maybe VLC player? There you can take video from the camera and broadcast it as a stream. On the second computer, respectively, watch this stream, such as IP-TV or something. Maybe now, of course, he froze the garbage, because. didn't try it myself.

You can share the USB port on the host computer with the USB Over Network program, and then use the same VLC, KMPlayer or any other software that can view the image from the cameras on your machine.
