How to setup remote desktop in ubuntu?

hello, there is a dedicated server with ubuntu server LTS, connection to which is via ssh(Putty). It is very necessary to put a graphical shell on it and configure remote access to the desktop. installed the graphical shell unity. But I can't figure out how to set up a remote connection. I tried to connect via x2go but I get an error, I'm sure I need to register some settings through the terminal or install some other package, since Ubuntu is a server one. But all I found on the net is how to set up remote access via gui, and I have ssh, tell me what to do

VNC
In general, drop this business, if you contacted the servers, then please learn how to use the console.
And then they put all sorts of nonsense on servers and then filter your spam all over the Internet :D

1. xrdp, for example here
2. ssh tunnel via putty here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgdqEz_iwv0. everything that is shown there can be done through the ssh console.
PS from the GUI options x2go, the most optimal in terms of speed - vnc, xrdp do not want to use after it

Once I set up white55.ru/xubuntu.html according to this instruction - it is for xubuntu, but everything is done in the same way there.
Check the steps - maybe you missed something

vnc, xfreerdp. But usually there is nothing on the server that would require GUI configurators. From the console, work faster and easier to manage. The only exception I know of (and then until some time) is writing iptables rules (until you remember at least half of the documentation :D)
