How to set up your traffic inspection on Cisco ASA? SFR module capabilities?

Dear community! I'm setting up cats (Cisco ASA) in different modes, I'm interested in setting up fine traffic inspection, (in addition to the standard protocols that are inspected)
is it possible to add my own inspection, for example port 3306 inspection.
I am also interested in how the SFR (IPS module) works, I have already activated it and redirected traffic through it, but to be honest, I have little idea what it is.
