How to set up Ubuntu 16.04 as an LDAP 389 DS client?
Good day.
Configured 389 DS (LDAP server) according to instructions from here
https://www.unixmen.com/install-and-configure-ldap...
or
https://www.ostechnix.com/setup-ldap-server-centos-7 /
On the server itself, I check
ldapsearch -x -b "dc=ostechnix,dc=lan"
everything is OK I
configure Ubuntu 16.04 according to the instructions from here
https://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=Ubuntu_16...
I want to log in both locally and via ssh, but it doesn’t work :-(
using tcpdump I see that the client host is accessing the server
cn=admin,dc=yar,dc=local
And authorization fails
Where and how to create an entry cn=admin,dc =yar,dc=local ?
After all, my users are uid=user01
Or maybe there is a Russian dock for pacification 389 DS?
