How to get contacts from LDAP?

Good day. There is a task. Get contacts from LDAP and convert them to vCard format.
On Mac OS X, the address book does not communicate with LDAP. It turned out through Thunderbird, but it does not pull the photo.
Is it possible to pull the photo through Thunderbird or an alternative for Mac OS?
