How to set up SSL for a subdomain on a different IP?

Right to the point: there is site.ru, I buy an SSL certificate for the domain and subdomains, I stick it on the site - everything is ok.
I create an A-record sub.site.ru that leads to ANOTHER IP.
When you go to sub.site.ru, an insecure connection lights up. How to stick a cert so that it works on a subdomain?
Install directly on the second hosting?

Or add a site to CloudFlare and make SSL free through it.
