How to set up remote access 1C Enterprise?

Good afternoon!
Can you tell me the options for accessing 1C Enterprise of a remote office?
Given 2 PCs through the file ball use 1C bases. Each PC has a single user HASP key.
It is necessary to connect a remote office which also has 2 PCs.
Internet speeds ~ 2 megabits on both sides.
At the moment, we are considering installing Windows Server 2012 in the main office and connecting remote users to it via RDP.
Actually the questions are as follows:
There is an edition of Microsoft Windows Server Essentials 2012 R2. It is not entirely clear how things are with RDP in it. Like it is possible to use Remote Desktop Web Access. How is 1C 8.2 friendly with him or not?
Is it possible to exchange single-user 1C licenses for a network license with an additional charge?
Or are there any better options? Those. support offers to exchange downloads by mail every day, which is not very convenient.

What configuration? As a VPN option and a thin client via a web server.

As it turned out in the current realities without rewriting and updating 1C, the simplest and most reliable is still terminal sessions, 1C has a 1C Link product, but in order to use it, you need to have an up-to-date version of Accounting and UT, which is not always possible.
