How to set up printing on a non-Postscript printer with Mac Os?

Hello, I have a laptop with Mac os (10.12.6) and a Sharp MX-2010U laser MFP. The MFP connects to the laptop and you can even change some settings, but when it comes to sending a file for printing, the file is sent, but not printed. The problem is that the standard equipment of the MFP is not designed to work with Mac Os.
For successful operation, the manufacturer offers to purchase the following add-ons for this MFP:
MX-PK11 - Postscript language kit
MX-PB14 - PCL print server
MX-HD10 - hard drive
The minimum price for all components is about 55-60 thousand rubles. This option seems a little crazy.
At the moment, the solution is presented in the form of an additional Windows computer that is connected to a printer that runs Dropbox 24/7 and a script that automatically prints any file found on a shared network folder. But this solution has its disadvantages: 1. Sometimes files are printed with a failure. 2. Inefficient use of a computer that only works for the printer.
Please tell me if there are any other solutions to this problem, but without using a computer and the above nuances? Thanks in advance.

Instead of a large computer, put a small one like Raspberry Pi, with Linux.

LPR, Raw TCP (port 9100), POP3 (e-mail printing), HTTP, Novell Print Server Application with NDS and Bindery, FTP for downloading print files, EtherTalk printing, IPP
