How to set up "auto-forwarding" a USB device to a guest OS?

Gentlemen, tell me, I just can’t find the answer to the question:
There is a host machine with Windows 10, Wmware Player is installed, there is a guest OS with Windows 7.
There is a physical USB modem connected to the host. It is forwarded to the guest OS without problems - but every time after the guest OS is started, this has to be done manually, through the Wmware Player menu. How to automate this simple process so that the USB device is automatically thrown into the guest OS at startup?
