I want to solder the contacts from the microUSB connector to the contacts of the Jack 3.5 connector and connect the smartphone to the PC using a homemade USB-Jack 3.5 wire. Is this possible and will the audio be covered?

Is it possible to solder a 4-wire wire with a 4-pin connector on the end to a smartphone? Of course you can. Screw the wire with electrical tape to the smartphone so as not to tear it out, and use it. Charging will go through any wire and connector. USB will probably work too.
