How to set up audio on Ubuntu?

Hello, I figured out the default value for brightness, but with sound in Ubuntu 14.10 everything is more complicated.
You have to switch from Headphones output to Speakers output every time you start the OS.
The same problem with the microphone.
How to disable the headphone port? Or switch it would immediately start the speakers (Speakers
