How to set up a router as an access point?

The essence of the problem: I have a TP-Link Archer C6 router and Huawei HG8245Hv5. I want to make it possible to connect the computer to the Archer C6 router, and Archer C6 via ethernet to Huawei. I tried various settings on Archer C6: connected ethernet to wan, disabled dhcp, connected ethernet to lan and switched the router to access point mode, indicated a static ip, wrote ip from the same network as Huawei, but the Internet did not start on the computer . Although there is access to Huawei from a computer. That is, I see 2 devices on the network, but there is no Internet. What can I be missing in this setup?

Point by point: router 1 and router 2, router 1 is connected to the Internet and connected to router 2 with a twisted pair cable:
Router1.
In the DHCP settings we prescribe the range of settings, say 100-200 (we leave room for static addresses)
Router2 We
prescribe the address of the router in the local network. select a free one (not registered anywhere), say 2 Turn off
DHCP
Plug the cord from Router1 into the LAN port
Set up WiFi with the same SSID and password as on Router1
Everything
