How to set up a printer on a terminal server for RemoteApp?
Good evening toasters. There is a problem when printing from Remote Desktop to RemoteApp. Things go like this
Domain infrastructure, a domain controller, dns and a remote desktop role are installed on the server. Using the Remote Desktop role, RemoteApp is configured accordingly. The remote branch is connected to 1C via rdp-RemoteApp. When the rdp shortcut was created, I checked the boxes for redirecting users' disks and printer. Branch employees connect to the 1C database without problems, save invoices and necessary documents on their local disk. But there is an important thing, this is local printing on the printer on the side of the branch employee. TS Easy Print doesn't seem to work correctly, when I select a printer, it shows that the printers are redirected, but when I send it to print, it doesn't show any errors and disappears in the background. I can not solve this problem, maybe someone faced such a problem, because it's always up to date with printing to rdp. I know that there are third-party drivers like ScrewDrivers, but the license is very expensive, we don’t want to install a hacked one (we don’t want to violate licensing laws). Perhaps there are some free alternatives to ScrewDrivers. I'm waiting for your suggestions and help to solve the problem of good IT admins!!!
One for all, and all for one)))

Try setting Full Control to Everyone on C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers
And if you go to this server without launching the application, just by connecting and checking the operation of printers?
In any case, look at the work logs
There was a similar problem on certain models of hp printers, including network printers - the document was sent to print just nowhere. I decided to install the xps driver from the hp website. Otherwise, for 5 years of active work with easyprint, there were no problems - there were many times more of them before, when a zoo of drivers hung on the server.
