How to set up a connection between PBX Panasonic hts 824 in the office and a new PBX in another office?

We are going to introduce IP-telephony through asterisk at the second office, in another city (but this is not certain, it is possible through elasticix, we are ready to consider different options). In our office, it is implemented using panasonic hts824.

Both ATSs will be physically separated in different cities. We use Mikrotik, there is an opinion that somehow you can tie VoIP on it ...
It is required to ensure the joint operation of the PBX. At the moment, I don’t quite understand what “trunks”, “routing dialplans”, etc. are. and how to set them up (in the form in which it is now, the equipment was set up before I started working here)

I will also be happy with general recommendations on choosing a PC as a server (we are only planning to purchase it, for 30-50 subscribers, 5-10 calls at the same time).

You may also need to make friends with a part of analog phones with an asterisk, but a friend claims that this can be done without buying a VoIP gateway, using some kind of PCI card ... I

'm attaching the general scheme.

The computer will fit the cheapest of the new ones. Something like: RAM 2 Gb, HDD 500Gb, Celeron.
I read that you can use ordinary PCI dialup modems to connect an external analog telephone line, but I have no personal experience.
Mikrotik will play a supporting role.
In order to minimally connect two devices, it is desirable to have a "white" IP, at least at one point, and preferably at both.
Most importantly, what do you understand by "ensuring the joint work of automatic telephone exchanges"?

In fact, the task is quite simple and standard, especially 10 years ago. :)
I do so. For tax station the gateway on dosputim 2 fXS undertakes. Included in CO.
An asterisk is installed at the factory, the hardware depends on the number of subscribers and additional services.
Roughly speaking, 2-4 cores, 4 memory, 2 screws at least 500 each.
And preferably not the trash. Although if you like disaster recovery, you can at least on an old office computer. :)
Communication by sipu. Why are there PCI cards, xs, if only there will be an analogue at the factory. But for me, iron is easier in the form of gateways, maybe not new ones. But with an analogue there will be their own dances with a tambourine. Though not a fact.
