How to set table width in outlook?

I had to make up an html letter.
I made it up on tables, with a minimum of inline css rules, and everything was fine until the letter was opened in outlook.
We simplified the design as much as possible, but we can’t overcome one thing.
Can Outlook somehow set the width of the table and cell?
he does not understand inline сss rules width. Max-width too.
