How to set physical screen dimensions in OS X or Adobe package?

Is it possible to change the determined physical dimensions of the screen without flashing EDID in OS X or separately in the programs of the Creative Suite 6 package. And sometimes you want to quickly figure out how it will look in real life (Print Size in PS, Actual Size in AI), but instead you have to manually adjust the zoom, because a 27 "@ 2560x1440 monitor is defined as a hefty TV (by the way, there was no such problem in Mauritius, everything was pulled with Yoshimitsu Yosemite).

Judging by the way the mentioned program functions behave, they clearly inherit these particular sizes and use them for calculations.

The first time I meet such a glitch, that is, I have never encountered it at all, from the word "absolutely". Do you have a Mac or Hackintosh on a PC? True, I now have 10.9.5 and I have not yet encountered newer systems
