How to set ip to one of the network interfaces?

I am running ubuntu and my virtual machine is running ubuntu. I configured the adapters as follows:

now I look at the network cards on the virtual machine and see that enp0s8 does not have an ip address and I don’t know how to make it appear there. In the guides from the Internet, everyone works on Windows.

The IP address is set not in the hypervisor, but on the virtual machine. Either static or dhcp. Configure through network manager, for example. if you do not want to pick in the console.

In the settings of the virtual machine, you simply created network adapters (when compared with a real computer, it’s as if you connected 2 cables to the PC). IPs are set in the network settings of the machine itself. Since one of your adapters is connected by a "bridge" (which means that the adapter is connected to your physical router), if dhcp is running on your router, the virtual machine should get an ip automatically.
For an adapter with an "internal network", set the ip address manually.
