How to set 1080p resolution on second monitor?
Hello everyone.
I bought a DisplayPort - VGA (D-sub) adapter, connected it to mac mini late2012, chose the desktop extension mode. The second monitor does not allow you to set the resolution to more than 1280 by 1024. The first monitor works with a resolution of 1920 by 1080.
BootCamp allowed you to set the resolution of the second monitor to 1920 by 1080 without any problems, OS X does not give ... The
question is how to make OS X allowed to set the resolution of the second monitor 1920 by 1080?
Both monitors support work at this resolution, the BootCamp example proves this, and I worked with them at these resolutions, the problem is software, but I can’t find where. I hope for your help, thanks.

Found a solution.
I called Apple and they suggested how to enable a list of all permission options.
It turns out that everything is simple, go to "System Settings" => "Monitors" => There we select the "Location" tab (if you have the "Desktop Extension" mode selected) => after that click on the item "Scaling" with the alt pressed, a list will appear all possible resolutions
Kudos to Apple support
Although of course I don't understand why it was necessary to hide these settings, but God bless him
Kudos to Apple support.
